Day 228 - Vilnius, Lithuania

The next morning, we were up and headed back into the city of Klaipeda. We made our way by bus, and found ourselves a nice Cili Pica restaurant inside the Akropolis Mall. It was a pleasant setting; it was by an ice skating rink. We could sit down and have our breakfast while watching others skate around. I got myself a bowl of dumplings; I couldn't get enough of them.

Following this, we headed to Klaipeda bus station, hopped on the next bus to Vilnius and enjoyed the 4-hour scenic journey, having biscuits and ice creams at our disposal and catching a nap or two along the way.

By the time we got to Vilnius, it was 7pm. There was not too much that we could do today; we had to focus on getting something to eat, and finding a place to sleep. So first of all, we went on a walk through the streets. This place was already different from Klaipeda. We found ourselves a nice Greek restaurant and sat down.

After dinner, we went on a look for a hotel. We found a big one, from which we would just get information from, as they had internet service. I found a list of restaurants such as Cili Pica, and a few other hotels, which were pretty expensive. I decided to consult my Lonely Planet guidebook. I found a hostel, and thought we'd go there and see if there are any availabilities, as it was close by.

We had an available spot, and got the two-bed dorm for 70 Litas. After checking in, we headed out for another quick meal, this time at the nearest Cili Pica restaurant. It was a pleasant day, and much less stressful.
